Dance Classes

Nacole is busy this year with one gymnastics, a tap class, and a ballet class! She loves all three. Last week we were able to go into the classes and watch. Here are a few pictures. We will not get to see them dance again until Recital in June!

Fire Museum of Texas 1-10-09

We attended a birthday party at the Fire Museum, a couple weeks ago. She had a really good time. As you can see in the picture, some of the local fire men brought a truck and told them all about it. I have no idea what she was looking at, or what the guys said, but it had some effect on her!

Here she is striking a pose by one of the many old fire trucks!

New Year's Eve

We spent NYE at home with family and friends. Food, fireworks, and Rock Band! Here are a few pics.

WOW! It has been awhile!

I will go back to Christmas, so much FUN! Christmas we drove over to Mom's after Candlelight service. She got to open one present, the nightgown she has on. After that, we put out cookies and milk and off to bed she went. Christmas morning came and she slept in! When she got up she had a blast opening her present and going threw her stocking. She had a good time, and even took her time! We did not think she would ever get finished. She loved all her gifts. Some of the things she got: boombox, diamond castle barbies, jewelry, clothes, and much more! We hope you all had just as great a day!

Road to Bethlhem

Last night I took Nacole to a local church that was putting on "Road to Bethlehem". You started with walking past the angel telling Mary she was going to have a baby, then past the angels and shepherds, and then into the city of Bethlehem. Here are some pics of Nacole walking through Bethlehem learning about what might have been going on there. She got feel clay from a lady making a pot, smell herbs, see muscles (she was not impressed), and watch the wood carving people. She loved watching the dancers (when she was not playing with straw on the floor!). At the end she saw Baby Jesus. There was a "wedding" earlier where the flower girl dropped flowers (this was neat for her to see to since she is going to be a flower girl in June!). She ran back over to where we watched that, grabbed a flower and went and laid it by Baby Jesus. She was very mesmerized most of the night.

This past Saturday we attended the Christmas Parade downtown. Nacole brought along a friend, and they had a blast! They loved getting candy and treats. They were very excited when Santa came by on a Fire Truck! They both left with tons of candy.
